It was a joyful sight as the mighty Kibuli debaters defeated a strong opponent in the form of Mariam High school in our very own German room on 30th June 2011. The team being led by their captain Nuwagira Gilbert, exhibited great talent ,skill and character as they held the flag of the school. They spoke with a lot of charisma presenting detailed facts which could not allow the judge not to announce them as the winners of the quarterfinal tie. Kibuli s.s progressed to the semi finals of the African Schools Debate League where it will meet other semi finalists which include Kinawa high school, Bugema Adventist S.S and Vienna college.
