I first of all congratulate Uganda and Jubilee president ofcourse Mzee Yoweri K M. Uganda has encountered very many problems but according to me, the worst and most problem affecting our country are the greedy government officials who have blocked our road to development through acts like corruption, and embezzlement.

On Iddi el Adhuha Day
Judging from the
atmosphere and weather pattern exhibited in the morning, you would
definitely know the stage had been set for the big day-the IDD DAY. The
look on
everybody’s face as they went about their preparations for the prayers showed they anticipated it to be a success and judging from the end point, their smiles were justified as no disappointments were recorded. Everything from the breakfast to the heavy lunch served was perfect as there were no reports of anyone missing out. Great thanks to the almighty Allah who enabled us run through the day’s events smoothly and a pat on the back goes to the Head teacher Hajj Matovu Ibrahim, Head of the week Mr. Mutaasa Ahmed and entire Prefects body for the high level of organization and supervisory skills shown, the resident Imam Badru Segujja for the sermon well delivered. To crown it all, the A-level boys’ football team was held to a 2-all draw by their O-level counterparts but went ahead to win from the spot kicks that followed in what was dubbed “the hottest fixture” of the year before everybody went for the movies at 8 pm.

END OF YEAR 2012 STUDENTS' COUNCIL REPORT. for the Headmaster
KIBULI SECONDARY SCHOOL
P O BOX 4216
KAMPALA.
21 /11/ 2012
THE HEADMASTER
KIBULI SECONDARY SCHOOL
Dear Sir,
RE: END OF YEAR 2012 STUDENTS' COUNCIL REPORT.
We
first of all praise the Supreme Being Allah, the exalted and the only true
protector of human nature. We pray that he blesses his prophet Muhammad (PBUH).
In this document we might not
really pellucid hint about everything but what we are talking about is all
properly explained below in the simplest terms possible.
WELFARE:
Since the students' council is very much concerned about the welfare of
students in school, we have very much tried to really achieve this. We must
note that, wee have tried to barnish out some of the ways or behaviors that
exist among students and also affect other students. The behavior of students
caning fellow students most especially in their sleep has very well been
handled by the council in school. This one is a very grade one because it has
got lots of negativities connected to it. In other ways, we have managed to
work together with the administrators to work on some of the things like weak
rails and walls which seem risky.
DISCIPLINE: With
the issues concerning the discipline of students, we must say that it has
positively advanced. As the student’s council, we have tried to make this grip
so well by ever trying to talk about it. The level at which discipline was has
greatly reduced. The discipline has improved in the sense that people are obedient,
loving, caring and many other positive things. With the attitude students are
having, our work has been made a little easier.
CLEANLINESS:
As everybody and every report suggests, this is so far the biggest challenge to
almost every department in school. But as the council, we have tried to
introduce several programmes that can help in promoting the school's theme
"Cleanliness is a collective responsibility." Programs of the
students' council are really spearheading the cleanliness. Programs like
cleaning the main hall, the dispensary and some other places serve as a very
big example. We only pray that we succeed in this.
COUNCIL
SESSIONS: In this, the student councilors thought it wise to start up sessions.
Such sessions emphasize the art of speech, confidence and free interaction
between students. By doing this, we hope and truly know that it will cause some
positive impact on the students in school and the country at large. We noted
that very few students know how to communicate to others yet communication is
vital in our lives.
INVITATIONS: The student’s
council on this is trying to invite several schools to have a convention here
in school. We want to make it an internal convention which will be meant to
bring other student council bodies of different schools together. We have
already set up the theme and all the other things connected to it and we only
pray that it turns out to be a success.
BENEVOLENT
FUND: We had and still have a goal of collecting at least 500,000 shillings
each term. For this term, it has not really been achieved because we have
managed to come up with about 200,000 shillings. The fact that this is the last
term this year and it is the promotional term has affected the collection in a
way that it has been slowed down. This is because most of the people who are in
charge of this have been trying to read so hard. We hope that we achieve all
the goals we have set on this.
CO-OPERATION:
We must note that the most exciting and interesting thing is that all the
councils in school are effectively working together. For so long, people plead
for co-operation but we noted that every member is so devoted to their work. In
fact the councilors are sedulous. We therefore conclude by saying that at this
point we would also like to thank the administration for all the times they have
supported the council.
We hope that we are to do a great deal
of things for us and the greatest benefit of society.
